I want to feel GOOD

Life is about joy. Feeling good. Life is for living and finding joy in each moment.

That can be hard to achieve in our society. Constant highlight reels thrown in our face, comparison, subliminal messages that we arent good enough as we are, and we will be amazing if only we do x/y/z. Apparent overnight success stories everyday, making us feel like a failure. Movies, books, magazines, social media, Tv portraying females in a particular way, making us jealous, compare, feel less-than, driving us to change ourselves to try and fit in, yet remaining unhappy.

Do you want to feel good? Do you want to be happy from within? Do you want to live in the present and find joy in every moment?

Then let’s get real here.

Quit ALL the habits you find yourself in, that make you compare yourself to others, make you feel less-than, inadequate.

Stop reading those magazines.

Stop following those people and businesses on social media.

Stop watching those movies and tv programmes.

Stop interacting in those groups online.

Stop hanging out with those people in person.


Delete that shit.

Out of sight, out of mind.

Do what you have to do, for YOU.

Stop watching the news.

Stop working the job you fucking hate.

Stop. Stop. Stop.

You have a choice.

Stop all the shit that isn’t serving you, the habits, the information you consume.


Keep doing it. Keep feeling less-than, keep feeling negative, keep feeling unhappy.

You get to choose.

No more blaming everyone else, your circumstances.

Empower youur fucking self, because YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE.

You choose what you read, watch, comsume.

You choose who you hang out with.

Your choose what job to accept.

You choose where to live.

You choose what you buy.

You choose what thoughts to believe.

There is no secret.

There is no special club.

It’s all on you, baby.

You think you don’t have a choice.

You do.

Try it out, one thing at a time.

Slowly start to upgrade your choices, to something that feels more aligned with you, with your values.

Ask yourself, does this make me feel good? Or does this make me feel like shit?

Tune in, be aware of how you feel.

Tweak, change accordingly.

This isn’t a quick fix.

This is a lifestyle change, a mental upgrade.

If you want it bad enough, you’ll do it, and you’ll be patient.

It’s worth it.

If you want to continue to wallow in self-pity and victim-hood (like I did for many years), by all means, make no changes.

You get to choose what you believe about yourself, and you get to create new beliefs that feel more aligned.

Shift your perspective. Look for the positive – there is always something positive.

Ask for help and support. Sometimes we can’t do it alone. We ALL need support sometimes.

I want to feel GOOD.

So I choose to.

I choose to only comsume that which lights me up, makes me feel positive, inspired, motivated.

I choose which thoughts I believe.

I choose to look for the good, the positive.

I choose to learn, there is no failure.

I choose to be open-minded and accept help and guidance.

It all starts within.

Your mind is powerful, it can make you happy beyond belief or extremely unhappy.

Thankfully, that choice is up to you.

From a reformed, victim, living in negative land.

It can be done.

I know.
